- Well not quite, but we think you'll like them
A couple of months back we asked you to vote on our narrowed down
selection of the some of the coolest wheels we wanted on Project2tone. You voted in your droves and gave us some great feedback which we think
have put to good use.

44% of you thought the '17 inch Fuch' from MWS (www.midlandwheels.com) was right but did wonder whether it was better suited to a Bay Window than a Type 25. 36% were digging the silver 18 inch 'Angel' from ZCW (www.zcwuk.com) but again thought it may be too modern for our retro styling.
Taking all that on board we decided upon a hybrid of both styles, spliced together in some crazy school room science lab type experiment. As a result, we have opted for the 18 inch ZCW, but in the Black and polished finish of the Fuch.
The observant amongst you will notice the distinct lack of rubber and locking wheel nuts. This we are leaving in the safe hands of the guys at MyTyres (www.mytyres.co.uk) who armed with all our vehicles spec are narrowing down a selection of relevant tyres that will fit snuggly under the arches and not effect our overall rolling diameter. Meaning you're old top speed will remain your top speed, and your speedo will still run the correct figures.
One thing to note with Type 25's is that you will require two sets of locking wheel nuts and bolts. The nuts being for the rear drums and the bolts for the front discs. this does make it somewhat more expensive but if you know someone else wanting to style up their Type25 it's worth going halves with them.
Let us know what you think about the final wheel choice - we'd love to hear from you.

Have your say!

I love these wheels - we've been looking at the same ones for our 1988 T25. do you know if they fit straight onto an unmodified T25? is the offset etc alright?

Your wheels are named after Jim Rockford's criminal friend!
They look so much better on the 2tone Camper than steels
