Skeg Vegas VW Show

The sun shone on the shores of Skegness once again, and boy did it show in the attendance figures for Skeg Vegas (2010).
The venue was jam packed full by midday and event organiser Toby Walker told us that the car park was nearly full by 10:30am - not bad, considering the gates opened at 10am!
VWs lined either side of the road right down to the show area, where VW trade stalls were positioned around the outside.
The event also included skateboard demos and roller Derby demonstrations to encourage all-comers to join in the fun. Graffiti displays and swap stalls also featured.
Towards the end of the day, trophies were handed out. The Skeg Vegas trophy table always looks fantastic thanks to sponsors Autoglym, Prosign, Mooneyes and Milk&2 having crafted the awards, one of which was a billet wheel!
Due to the size of the venue and the numbers in attendance the show will become a weekender for 2011 (June 3-5th) and promises some new touches, so make sure you put the dates in your diary.
