The VW SP-2 is a relatively unknown coupé that was built in Brazil from 1972-1976 and designed purely for the South American market. Unfortunately, the use of a wheezy Beetle engine meant that the car never had the go to match the show, and only 10,000 units were produced. However, the relaunch of the Scirocco has inspired young Brazilian designer Marcelo Rosa to come up with a modern take on the SP-2 design and we think it looks awesome!
