Fuel tank dipsticks for VW Beetle

Fuel tank dipsticks for pre-55 Beetles from Karmann Konnection

Got a Bug with no fuel gauge and keep running out of the precious stuff? Dip this stick in and know when you're running low!

Pre ’55, the bods at Volkswagen saw no importance for an internal fuel gauge. They did, however, provide you with a ‘Gas tank dip stick’ in case you wanted to check for yourself. The guys at Karmann Konnection are stocking a good selection of Original and Repro dipsticks. Two varieties are available, as the tank changed in August ’55, so they’ll need to know if the car has an early tank or a late one (they have the date stamped on them, either up to 6.8.1955 or from 6.8.1955 onwards).

Who: Karmann Konnection
How Much: Blue anodised £25; other colours start at £47 including Vat.
