There’s been a few Camper hire companies pop up in recent years, but have you noticed – as we have – that most are quite far away. Well, seeing as we’re in Croydon, that's our impression at least.

The good news is, one such company has recently come to our attention, based in West Sussex, near Goodwood.
Going by the name of Vanilla Splits, the firm has five Campers on offer (three Splits and two Bays) with very plush interiors and amenities to ensure a comfy and enjoyable Camper experience. In fact, they come with everything you would expect for a camping holiday, from a place to sleep and freshen up, to everything you would need to cook a decent meal and eat it. Hell, you even get a DVD player, iPod connection, a full tank of petrol and a set of playing cards (a full list can be found online). One of the Vans, named Mr Mac Henry, is extra-special in the sense it was the Van used by Corgi to model their Bus on, more than 40 years ago.
