Nuts and bolts for the Resto Cal fan

Mark Dryden from Flatlands Engineering has informed us of a new range of products he is now stocking for the Beetle chassis.

As you know Mark is renowned for his attention to detail when building cars - these new products reflect exactly how he likes things done - anyone building a Resto Cal will love this little lot!
Basically the new range of fixings are made from stainless steel so you have the choice of a normal stainless finish or a highly polished one.
The parts include the fuel tank retaining plates (£4 each), the 15mm hex bolts for the rear torsion covers (8 for £12) or even parts in the pedal assembly including an early or late pedal stop plate (£5.50, £3.75 respectively), accelerator shaft bracket (£4.50), or the pedal shaft support plate (£12.50) to name just a few. Then there's the stainless track rod locks and nuts (the ones that lock the track rods into their shaft) for £3.25 a pair, stainless replicas of the body to chassis fittings (£2.50 each or available as a kit) or even stainless washers for your trailing arm to torsion leaves pinch bolt (£2.50 a set) which will stop you scuffing the paint on your beam when doing up the lock nut! He even does a stainless dome nut to finish it off for £1.95.
There are plenty of new useful items available so log onto www.flatlandsengineering.co.uk to see what Mark has for you or call 01553828868. Of course, if you would rather Mark do you an immaculate chassis for your Resto he would only be too happy to oblige!
