Paul Medhurst (aka Puppy) and T3D workshop manager, Matt Ball's, have come up with the 'airbeam' - the all new air bag suspension axle for the Type 3. It is said to ride very well indeed and with two years worth of developing and testing you can see how that would be the case. Each beam is scratch built using thick walled seamless tube and utilises Type 1 King and Link spindles for use with Porsche or Wide 5 stud pattern discs.
