The new Type 3 Air beam form Type Three Detectives (T3D)

With all the talk of air bag suspension for Bugs and Buses, we'd hazard a guess and say the Type 3 owner is getting pretty cheesed off.

Well don't despair as Type 3 Detectives have Puppy Power - tuh da da daa duh daaaaa!
Paul Medhurst (aka Puppy) and T3D workshop manager, Matt Ball's, have come up with the 'airbeam' - the all new air bag suspension axle for the Type 3.
It is said to ride very well indeed and with two years worth of developing and testing you can see how that would be the case.
Each beam is scratch built using thick walled seamless tube and utilises Type 1 King and Link spindles for use with Porsche or Wide 5 stud pattern discs.
To get your Type 3 fully air equipped without the hassle of doing it yourself, T3D offer a full drive in drive out service for £2,500.
