What with all the blustery weather at the beginning of the year, you might want to investigate your door's check straps (or door stops) and make sure that they show no signs of wear.

If they do, then replace them quickly! If you're like a good friend of ours, Andy, one strong gust is all it takes for one to snap! Luckily, he was standing in the way, which stopped the door from damaging the pillar. However, he didn't replace the strap in time for another strong gust to do just that, resulting in a costly repair to both the door and pillar on his Bay.
