Heavy Duty Beetle Floor Pans

There is a new heavyweight champion on the block and it will knock seven bells out of that repro pan you were about to buy. The new heavy-duty floorpans from VW Heritage have arrived and look to be much better than the alternatives already available. With steel two gauges thicker, not only will these pans last longer, but they won't warp or dent as easily and will weld in much more nicely, too. This also means that the seat runners will stand up to more abuse as well as the jacking point, which is super-strong. Plus, the pressings look pretty decent! So if you want the best and don't want to repair the pan again in the foreseeable future, then these are the panels for you. As an introductory offer to VolksWorld readers, the VW Heritage guys have said that you can buy a pair of pans for just £200. This offer lasts until the end of March and then the price will revert back to £149.95 plus VAT each. Who: VW Heritage Contact: 0845 873 8328 Web: www.vwheritage.com

Hi ... please excuse my ignorance but will these floor pans fit into a 1976 VW Safari/Trekker/Thing?

Easy tiger! Yes, we believe that it is two gauges thicker than the current reproduction items. To be honest though, we're just the messenger. If you want to find out specifics please call VW Heritage on the number provided in the list.
