Their new rack and pinion conversion kit is designed to replace your old worn out steering box and make your Bus feel like a modern car. Several years of development have gone into this kit to make it the safest conversion you will find.
The kit is a bolt-on application that takes minimal work to get it to fit. You only have to make a minor trim to the chassis and make five 8mm holes - no welding required and it should only take around four hours!
Naturally, the conversion kit has been manufactured to the highest quality for safety and performance. The result is a rack that will give you zero slack, for immediate response at the wheels.
CE's brand-new steering column is also an excellent piece of kit that exceeds the original factory item in build quality. Its outer case is manufactured from stainless steel and is available in polished or powder-coated finish. Running on needle roller bearings in an acetyl housing, you can be sure that the new internal steering shaft runs as smooth as silk. You will be pleased to know your original Bus steering wheel will bolt straight on, too.
