Brand New Genuine VW Gearboxes
Sourced direct from Volkswagen, these are 1200cc/1300cc units, as fitted to late swing axle Beetles. The perfect way to breathe new life into your restoration project! The ratios are 3.78 (1st), 2.06 (2nd), 1.26 (3rd) and 0.89 (4th), giving a final drive ratio of 4.375.
In addition, VW Heritage also has limited stock fitted with the higher 3.875 final drive, as found in the GT Beetle! These are standard, genuine VW boxes with a new 3.875 ring and pinion fitted. They are stripped and rebuilt in the UK - exclusively for VW Heritage - using only new genuine VW parts! Ideal for engines 1600cc upwards, or for Split Screen buses with a straight axle conversion.
These units are sold on an exchange basis at the incredible price of just £679.95 (inc. VAT) for the standard box or £849.95 (inc. VAT) for the GT version.
