Richie Webb's Cabriolet
Having run a 9.97 on the Saturday, Richie?s 9.783 on Sunday backed this run up to make it the first UK floorpan street car to be backed up with another nine second pass. You can witness the run at volksworld.com
Richie has become synonymous with drag racing VWs having campaigned his Karmann Cabriolet relentlessly for the past decade. Starting off with a normally aspirated motor, Richie worked his way up the ranks with various trick bits such as digital fuel injection and nitrous oxide, before finally adding a turbo into the ingredients a few years back.
Richie is an active member of the Outlaw Flat Four Drag Racing Club and would like to extend his thanks to all club members who have helped him over the years.
Rumour has it he has even more tricks up his sleeve, so 2008 is bound to be a very exciting year for UK Drag Racing. Good luck from VolksWorld!
