They feature a Ferrite spiral-wound, coated core of copper-nickel alloy, bonded by a conductive acrylic cover. The core is bonded with a tightly woven, heat-treated fibreglass braid to ensure strength, then wrapped with a two-layer Zimplex silicone jacket… in other words, they are extremely well made! They are designed as a factory replacement and as a result have the correct VW-style end boots.
