Machine7 has been in touch to give us a preview of some new CSP products due for launch this year. One of the first out is a new version of the already popular Super Competition exhaust system.

Custom Speed Parts has moved production of their Super Comp system to a company that is more used to manufacturing exhausts for high-end exotic super cars. The system has been totally computer designed, to ensure perfect flow and precision accuracy in manufacture. One of the benefits of the new header design is an increase in clearance to the rear valance to avoid heat transfer.
The Super Competition is designed to fit the standard tailpipe cut-outs on Beetles, for an appearance of stealth and excellent ground clearance, while ensuring the best possible performance for your stock, mild or high-performance engine. Different versions of the system are available, to suit single- or twin-carburettor engines, and are compatible with either J-Tubes or Heat Exchangers.
All the systems are supplied with stainless steel headers and a choice of either aluminium-coated or fully polished stainless mufflers. The full range can be seen online.
