The Fridolin is not a show car - it's a very good one, better than most,
but it's one you can drive and enjoy and it looks superb.
We really love the Frid, it's been part of the team for a long time, but
it is not getting used and we have other plans which will mean it has
to move to pastures new.
The VolksWorld Frid is the far rarer Swiss spec with Samba style corner
windows and a opening roof hatch. Very few examples are known today.
For last year's VolksWorld Show the Frid was given a full exterior
repaint in grey by Johnson Autoworks, a Slamwerks narrowed beam and
dropped spindles, The Engine Shop built the 1641cc engine with Engle
cam. VW Evolution redid the interior with a full wood headliner and
Split Screen Bus style Westy flip seat in the front. We also fitted
detailed four bolt Gas Burners - detailed in black and polished by Alex
at Defcon 3.
Note the full jail bars! Swiss Fridolins have rear window and corner
window jail bars - VW Evolution made matching side window jail bars for
our Frid.
It has not been used this year and is stored in a secure underground carpark. It won't need much, but will need an MoT.
If you are serious about owning this super rare and unique VW you are welcome to come and check it out. We are accepting sealed bids - so if you want it, email your best offer to ivan_mccutcheon@ipcmedia.com if you are the highest you'll be the next owner. We will only be selling the VolksWorld Fridolin once so this is your chance to own it! Good luck.
