10 year Oval Beetle project

It might have been on a trailer but Mike's Oval was back on the road again after a very long time. If memory serves, it was over 10 years ago that this car was taken off the road for a full restoration. That's a long time but it has to be stressed that the majority of it wasn't spent doing the actual work (although the work done so far is top notch). We all know the story - other commitments crop up or something else happens in your life so the car projects get put on hold.

Mike is very familiar with that kind of situation and and it seems he's had enough of being without his green machine.
As far as restorations go, this one is pretty close to completion, but not having the time to do it Mike has made his mind up to get someone else to finish it for him.
So with that he loaded it up on to a trailer and headed off to a workshop to drop it off. We can't reveal who or where just yet. For that you'll have to pick up an issue of VolksWorld in a month or two, but for now lets just say it's in very safe hands.
