It was like Christmas came early for Mr Peene this morning. Waiting at his desk, was a decidedly beam-like parcel, only narrower than normal. He immediately took a pair of scissors to his package and adopted the Jack the Ripper hack and slash opening technique. Once open the team gathered round for a peep of the replacement beam he's got to go on his '62 Ragtop. Some four inches narrower than VW made them this is a really smart bit of kit.
