Ok, some call this sad, others call it boredom, I like to call it a bit of fun!
Having just finished building my '61 Beetle ragtop I decided I needed a miniture version of it in my life and set about building a pretty old Tamiya kit that I was passed down to me about 6 years ago.
Naturally I painted it in the same colour and even colour coded the interior to match. Even the engine is detailed to mimc my real motor! I was kindly given a set of cast BRMs from Ivan too! Nice one!
The one hurdle I've had is with the ragtop but I found some suitable cloth, I just need to get it to sit right.

Sweet. There is something really sweet about having a replica of your 1:1 on your desk. I've made 1:32 scale replicas of all my current 1:1's.
