Hella 'snowflake' rear light lens for the VW Beetle

We had a good look around European Bug-In for a good set of 'snowflake' rear light lenses for Steve's project Bug and while there were quite a few on offer they all were a little too pricey.

The reason Steve was after a pair of these was because the '60 currently has the plastic Swedish type where the whole lens acts as a reflector as well as a brake light. For some reason only the Swedish market seemed to get them like that.
So, seeing as the snowflake versions look better, Steve wanted to out his plastic ones.

Luckily after returning home from EBI2, he found a pair on VolksZone for sale from Ernie Wood.

A phone call later and £25 lighter in the pocket Steve now has the light lenses he was looking for. Good work!
