Stonor Park! One of the longest standing VW shows in the UK and certainly one of our favourites.
For 25 years people from all over the country and abroad have been descending on the venue in Henley on Thames to look at the extensive concourse and rummage through the swapmeet.
This year there were plenty of traders in both the auto jumble and the official trade areas and going by the amount of people milling about and the number of cars parked up, numbers were definitely spiraling over last years show.
We spent most of our time helping with the judging and talking to the owners but eventually we got time to walk around the whole show field and take in the sights. I even got to do a little shopping and bought a few essentias for the '61 rebuild.
The best part of the day for me was getting to catch up with so many people I haven't seen for a while, that and being given the keys to my old friend the Fridolin. It must have been over 2 years since I last drove it on a long journey!
Anyway, I won't ramble on, you can read the full report in VoksWorld Magazine fairly soon. So for now we've uploaded a few of our photos from the show for you to check out. Just click on the link below.

Have your say!

The Stonor report on page 46 of the September Volksworld magazine says the Concours results of that Meet are on this page. They can't be found. Can you explain where they are? Many thanks

The first picture up in the selection from Stonor Park 2008 is of a replica porche speedster,Owned and built by Neil Griffiths of Stourport on Severn in Worcestershire. You showed a picture of it in the selection from Dub Freeze. This is a fabulous vehicle built to a high standard with a big engine worthy of a feature in you top mag.
