New parts for the '61 Ragtop

New parts for Jon's 1961 Ragtop Beetle

Jon's been on a small spending spree

Seeing as I'm coming to the end of getting my chassis finished, I figured I best buy a load of new parts to replace all the battered stuff.
So it was on to vwheritage.com I went and started adding things to my basket!
From the time I clicked 'confirm payment details' to the time I got the goods was a total of 60 hours - not bad considering it was free shipping!
I ordered parts like shock absorbers, rear hub gasket sets, axle boots, gearbox gasket set, gearbox mounts, torsion arm outer grommets (I already have the inners), early to late clutch release kit, frame head cover seal, clutch cable conduit... the list goes on. The annoying thing is that this order is just the beginning!
I have a load of parts on my list that I need to buy but those are parts needed later on in the build so I can purchase them on my next pay day.
