New number plates for the Beetle
I know, I know! Number plates are probably the last thing I need to buy right now but seeing as my Bug is very nearly ready for paint I've started to obtain all the smaller things on my very long list of things to buy. The number plates can now be crossed off!
I got them made up by a company I've used a few times before who are very cheap and very quick - plus they produce very good quality.
If anyone is looking for a decent plate maker at the moment you might want to try Vintage Plates.

Hi mate cant believe i only live 5 miles from the number plate company . i am wanting to buy some for my 65 beet just the same as your could you please tell me how much you paid for the pair

Hi Paul,
I paid £23.99 for the pair. With shipping and VAT it came to £29.95.
So you should get a slightly better deal if you pick them up from the company yourself.
