VolksWorld goes go-karting

Each year VolksWorld gets to go go-karting with the rest of sister titles and show of our driving skills
Every time the go-karting date draws near the office fills with playful banter about how one magazine title is going to quash another on the track.
Some of our titles take it more seriously than others - some even have strategy meetings and work out how many laps and pit stops each driver will get before swapping over.
Despite the forward planning and winning spirit, non of it paid off!
Going up against the likes of Race Car Engineering, who know all about racing lines, weight transfer, cornering and the like, you would think they would be first on the podium. They even have a team member who races regularly and one that holds the fastest lap record at the track.
We also had a second threat - the team on Golf + magazine! These boys (boy racers) know no fear when it comes to pushing the pedal to the floor and burning rubber. However, the bass from those huge boxes in their Goofs must have done something to their vision, as they were no competition! True one of their drivers did have a serious injury which put them out of the running, but that's not the point.
Team VolksWorld, as ever, went into the challenge threatening everyone that they would crash and burn against our driving skills. We had no plan, we didn't even care about winning, we just wanted to drive... fast!
And drive we did - from the outset it was looking good! Ivan got out there and got some great times down putting us in the lead. Mike followed suit and kept us right up there, but it was wonder boy Steve who shocked everyone with his amazing skill. By the time the chequered flag came down, he had put us two laps into the lead for a well-deserved victory and got the fastest lap times of the tournament.
Yes, once again, we came first and got another trophy to place on our shelf and remind the other mags who's top dog! Of course, we don't like to boast... much! The other magazines are still hearing about it from our industrious leader who will never let them forget about the day that VolksWorld whooped their behinds!

Oh yeah! Number one on the podium!

Cheers Kristian,
Sorry that you're having trouble with the ordering system.
I have made sure the development team are aware of it.
Regards,
Jon
