Having started a new project, Steve decided it was time to out his old welder and invest in a new one to make his life easier when repairing the 1960 Beetle.

This Mig Welder gives a good constant wire delivery and, with a bit of practice, a strong smooth weld. It has an adjustable current, naturally, of 40 to 220 amp and can take wire reels from 5 to 15kg. It even has a spot weld timer but if you?re like us, a proper spot welder is much better.
