James and Jon took a quick trip in the new Bay and made use of its ample space to haul some wheels back to James' house.

The Fridolin's rubber is in need of dire replacement as it has worn down to the cord. So to make it safe again, James and Jon went on a mission to fetch the Frid's old wheels and tyre's (as they still have lots of tread) out of the lock-up in the new VW Camper&Bus project Bay Window!
Jon got to drive the new Bay for the first time and much to his surprise, really enjoyed it! It's not the first time he's driven a Camper Van but everytime he has, he's wished he hadn't bothered! This time was a different story though! "It drove really nice and straight even if it is a little under powered" Jon explained. "I won't be getting one though" he added!
We think he is a Beetle man through and through!
