Welcome to the December 2009 issue of VolksWorld Magazine, the best VW magazine in the UK! Here's whats inside this issue!

Der Wiger Coupe ? ?52 Split Coupé
Øystein Asphjell describes his unique, handmade Beetle coupé as ?the car Hebmüller should have built?. We?d describe it as quite possibly the best crossover between custom and stock VW we?ve ever seen

Flake off ? GP Beach Buggy
Just when you have yourself convinced you have enough projects we feature something that blows you away. That?s exactly what happened in the November 2001 issue...

Bug Jam 23
It?s getting a bit boring going to Santa Pod for the best VW festival of the year and it pours down with rain. However, it?s still the best!

European Bug-in 3
If a good show for you means racing, show cars, good company, a swapmeet and decent trade stands, then join the club. Now how about all of the above, with a road trip abroad and Belgium?s finest beers thrown in? Sounds like European Bug-In III to us

Cutting Edge ? ?65 Razor
When Bill Tsagrinos finished his latest project, he knew there was only one place to have it shot for VolksWorld...

Cartel Cruiser ? ?53 Barndoor Bus
The latest project to come from Ian Terry is not only the earliest but also the rarest he has owned

Army Surplus ? ?42 Kübel
Building a replica car is never easy but when you intend to build a replica of a 1942 WW2 Kübelwagen it becomes very hard indeed

Our Projects - Red rag, no bull
There?s been more comings and goings on the Peene driveway this month as the ?66 makes way for a ?62

How to: Replace you VW dynamo
Volkswagen dynamos and alternators are very robust items that give many year?s of service providing they are well maintained at regular service intervals. How to keep a generator well maintained? Simply by checking the fanbelt tension and making sure it is neither too taught, nor too loose. Simply put, a fanbelt that has been tightened too much causes excessive loading on the generator?s bearings. This loading will cause the dynamo or alternator?s bearings to wear out very quickly, so make sure you check your fanbelt for tension often.
